Insurgent: What does the work tell us about how the society affects the individual?

The person who tried to kill her during initiation switched the death serum, and saved her life. Now, Tris is going to the Amity compound to try and cooperate with the Amity leader while the factionless lead an attack on the Erudite compound.

I think that this book tells us how the government, and therefore society, make a huge impact in influencing our thoughts and beliefs. In the book, the government believes that the Divergent are evil and very dangerous to their system of factions, so some people treat them like aliens. It is true that the Divergent are dangerous, it is because they are immune to the simulations and the serums, so they cannot be taken under control. Now, the Divergent are the only hope that the rebels have in order to defeat the Erudite and Jeanine. Will the other rebels be able to cooperate with them? Will they be successful?
